I feel truly blessed to have contributed to such an incredible investigation into some very serious subject matter. It's important for people to know that not every militia has evil intentions, the Ohio Defense Force that i photographed appeared to be made up of legitimate men and women who simply want to defend their communities. Their training definitely raises eyebrows, but they have never been known to create violence against the government or it's people. However, there are some dangerous people out there, and i was really proud to be a part of the TIME team that got to work on this project.
